THE GLEN AT ST. JOSEPH ANNOUNCES LAURA ROESCH AS NEXT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AHEAD OF ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY
DAYTON, OH – December 15, 2025 – The Glen at St. Joseph is thrilled to announce accomplished
Dayton community leader Laura J. Roesch as its next Executive Director. After a thoughtful search
process, The Glen identified Roesch as the leader who will guide the organization into its next chapter of
growth, stability, and service to mothers and their children as The Glen approaches its 20th anniversary
in 2026.
“Laura Roesch brings a depth of experience, a heart for families, and a leadership style that aligns
beautifully with The Glen’s mission,” said Michelle Mathile, Board Chair at The Glen. “As we look ahead
to our 20th anniversary, we are excited for the vision, steadiness, and renewed energy Laura will bring
to the next chapter of our organization.”
Roesch joins The Glen following an extraordinary 37-year career at Catholic Social Services of the Miami
Valley (CSSMV), where she has served as CEO for the last 16 years. Throughout her tenure, she led the
organization through significant program expansion, strengthened essential services for families across
the region, and championed a mission grounded in dignity, compassion, and long-term stability. Laura’s
leadership and passion for serving families in the Dayton area are closely aligned with The Glen’s mission
to empower mothers to build brighter futures for themselves and their children.
“After many incredible years at CSSMV, I’m pleased to have the opportunity to continue serving families
through The Glen’s mission,” said Laura Roesch. “I’m eager to build on the strong foundation already in
place and support mothers and children through this next chapter.” For over two decades, founding Executive Director Elaine Lantz has dedicated her career to shaping The Glen into a place where mothers and their children can grow, find hope, and build their future stories. From the initial planning stages, when The Glen’s founder and former Board Chair Mary Mathile was imagining how her vision would come to life, Lantz has been integral to its story since the very beginning. Elaine’s commitment to the mission, along with the care and steadiness she has brought to her role, has strengthened The Glen’s programs, community, and long-term impact in meaningful ways.
“Elaine has served The Glen with unwavering commitment, leading with compassion and clarity since
the very beginning,” said Michelle Mathile. “We are deeply grateful for the path she has paved and the
lasting impact her leadership will continue to have on the families we serve.” As Elaine prepares for her retirement, she will support a thoughtful transition as Laura Roesch steps into the Executive Director role in 2026. Roesch’s last day at CSSMV will be February 27, and on March 1, she will assume the role of Executive Director of The Glen at St. Joseph. CSSMV will announce a formal search process for the organization’s next CEO soon.
